If you like obscure, oldschool MS-Dos utilities and games, you've come to the right place! Most programs listed here are from around 1996, when I created a lot of freeware. I kinda miss those days... although programming has become a lot easier. Back then you had to do it all by yourself. I created my own interfaces, fonts, a mouse cursor creation program which spawned ready to use C-code, a textfile creation program with color coding and even a drawing program called Spredit1 to create graphics for my software (until I found out how to read PCX files, which I created with NeoPaint). Some of my programs got published by diskmagazines and were displayed in various magazine stores. Well, that was then. Click on a link or an image to download the zipped installation files. Please unzip with WinZip or a similar utility. For flawless use of the MS-Dos programs I highly recommend installation of DosBox. Note: Most software is in the English tongue, unless stated otherwise (some are in the Dutch language).

Runs fine from Windows 3.1/95/98/XP.   - Dosser - Draw Ascii Published on PC NewsFlash CD 6 and PC-Active CD nov. 1998. A MS-Dos based graphical 'diskwalker'. Allows you to easily navigate your harddisk and start programs without any memory limitation. You can also view textfiles. Freeware (full version). Not for use with Windows (well, you could try though). A MS-Dos based editor for drawing with ASCII characters. Freeware (full version). Does not run from Windows. Instead, use with MS-Dos 3.x up to 6.x and ANSI.SYS loaded (no need for ANSI.SYS with DosBox).   - Easy Base - Mouse Cursor for C Published on PC NewsFlash CD 6 and PC-Active CD nov. 1998. A MS-Dos based database for e.g. addresses etc. Freeware (beta). Runs fine from Windows 3.1/95/98/XP. A MS-Dos based editor for creating Mouse Cursors. Generates ready to use C-Code, which can be used directly in your own code. Freeware (full version). Runs fine from Windows 3.1/95/98/XP.   - Tekst - Island Conquest II Language: Dutch. A MS-Dos based textviewer. Works better then the TYPE | MORE command. You can scroll, print and change colors. Freeware (full version). Well, not much use using this one with Windows. Published on PC Extra 24 (floppy - front cover!) & PC Extra 4 (cd). A MS-Dos based strategy game. Certainly no Civilisation, however good enough for a few hours of fun if you're not spoiled too much by todays games. Freeware (full version). Playable from Windows 3.1/95/98/XP. Also available on Dos Games Archive.   - Island Conquest I - Nemesis Published on PC NewsFlash CD 6. A MS-Dos based strategy game. Certainly no Island Conquest II, though still good enough for a few hours of fun if you're not spoiled too much by any game. Freeware (full version). Only playable from MS-Dos. A MS-Dos based demo of a game I sadly never finished. Time is always a factor... Freeware (one level). Playable from Windows 3.1/95/98/XP.   - Meteor - Galgje A MS-Dos based screensaver. Freeware (full version). Not tested with Windows. Language: Dutch. Published on PC Extra 7 (cd). A MS-Dos based hangman game. Freeware (full version).
